Hey Matt, I remember you from Lambuth College (Jackson, TN), circa 1983 or 84. I’m sure you don’t remember me. You hung out at our frat. house sometimes. Seems like 100 years ago. Cool website. Looks like you have an interesting life with the recording studio and session work. I checked out your myspace page, I like the song, “Into the Silence”, are you going to post more? Here’s a band I like, Mute Math (http://www.mutemath.com/), I’ve seen them live on 3 separate occasions in Memphis. Later. |

Whoa…awesome. A Lambuth student!! That was a magical year!! What’s your name?? I’m sure I’d remember you if we hung out. I remember repelling from the roof of my dorm with my roommate Kent Pafford…tying Kent’s mountaineering rope to the base of a toilet upstairs…brilliant year. Thanks for liking Into the Silence!! That’s on my solo record…soon to be released. Hey I love Mutemath. How the heck did they film that? He’s singing in real time but everything else is moving backwards…cool video! Thanks for stopping by!! Matt |

Hey Matt. The name’s Jeff Kinzer. I was a Sig Ep. I was friends with Brad Thomas. I remember the repelling incident. I remember you and Brad singing the Beatle’s “Rain” all the time too. Do you like NIN? Trent’s new CD is at http://ghosts.nin.com/main/home 2 CDs for $5, kinda cool. I’ll keep an eye out for your new CD. I like anything new and different. Later. |

Sig Ep!! You guys were my people. I still kick myself for not joining – I probably would have stayed in touch with you over the years. I loved the vibe of the house…laid back, artistic, easy going. The Kappa Alphas were all “thuggish” so the Sig Eps were known as the “nerds” but the truth is, it was relative. Compared to the KA’s, EVERYONE was a nerd and it was the KA’s fault for making us all feel that way!! Brad was a great guy too. I think he repelled with us!! Write any time Jeff and thanks for contacting me – I’ll check out the NIN link. We played a show with them at an outdoor festival in Norway one year and I thought they were brilliant. Matt |
